Underpinning the excellent service are strict safety standards. The protection of the public sharing the roads with Alphatrans’ vehicles is a legal and moral necessity that is taken very seriously. Therefore frequent training of staff and drivers is standard practice.

Trailers arriving at ports are checked before the next leg of the journey, and securing equipment, such as spansets and chains, are also subject to the same stringent process. Drivers, naturally, carry out their own safety checks before every journey.
